Scope of Training:
This training course educates students about the different types and safe practices of rigging within sound engineering designs and according to API-RP-2D 6th Edition Regulations.

• Use of wedge sockets, hooks, shackles, eyes bolts, rope clips, and turnbuckles
• Basic sling hitches
• Deterioration, inspection, and care

• General rigging procedures and precautions
• Recognized API-RP-2D crane signals
