Scope of Training:
Gas monitoring equipment is required by OSHA to determine to what extent emergency response operations will be conducted. This training course focuses on the types and levels of hazardous substances involved in an operation, and the type of protective equipment required.

Course Objective:
At the completion of this course student trainees will have an understanding of the following topics:

• Initiating the level of personal protection required
• Determining the changing conditions of the operation
• Listing the order of atmospheric testing
• Descriptions of stratified atmospheres
