First Responder Training Course

Duration: 40 Hours

Scope of Training:
This training course introduces students to the aspects of emergency medical care. Emergency Medical Services Systems, roles and responsibilities of the First Responder, and Medical Oversite are covered.

Course Objective:
On completion of the course, students should be able to:

• Access and evaluate what is wrong
• Lift or move the patient when required
• Transfer a patient
• Obtain patient information
