Benzene Awareness Course

Duration: 2 Hours

Scope of Training:
This training course focuses on the exposure limits, health affects, hazards, and physical characteristics of Benzene. Where to locate benzene and how to protect yourself from overexposure are also explained in this program. We incorporate the use of respirators in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR standards.

Course Objective:
Upon completing this course, student trainees should be able to:

• Describe where benzene can be found
• Discuss exposure limits
• Describe how to properly protect themselves when working in an environment that may contain benzene
• List the different types of respirators
